My guest for this episode is Dr. David Musnick. David Musnick MD is a Sports Medicine, Functional Medicine, and Internal Medicine physician in Bellevue, WA practicing at Peak Medicine. He has developed a Functional Medicine approach to healing the brain after concussion and Traumatic Brain Injury originally presented at an Institute for Functional Medicine annual meeting in 2017. He has written the chapter on Concussion and Traumatic Brain Injury in the book Integrative Neurology. In his practice he integrates supplements, exercise, diet, and treatment for metals, toxins, mold, and infections. He has expanded his approach to also treating Mild Cognitive Impairment.
